Sky Annotations — new
Text, image and line annotations pinned to the sky, for marking and naming a star, a constellation or a region during a presentation.
- Annotations are locked to the celestial sphere: they move with the sky and stay aligned to celestial north.
- They hold their shape under the dome's wide-angle projection.
- Positions can be picked directly from the sky with Ctrl + click.
- A separate control window handles scale, colour and transparency.
- The whole annotation layer is stored in a snapshot and fades in smoothly between frames during playback.

Working with Content Producer
Universe scripts added to a show now run reliably: a new script doesn't start until the previous frame's script has fully stopped, file extensions are no longer case-sensitive, and a script that fails reports an error instead of silently leaving an empty frame.
Data2Dome on the Tablet
The desktop Data2Dome section now has a web counterpart: current sky news and imagery can be picked on a tablet and sent to the dome with a single tap. Sources that use different spelling conventions, or that carry no dimension information, are now listed as well.
Web remote control
- Content Producer page — show list, frame strip, audio strip and playback controls.

- SkyManager page — display controls that stay in sync with the desktop settings in both directions.

- Reworked button layout — the improvements made on the dome console were carried over here; the selected target is finally visible on screen.
- Tablet use — runs full screen when added to the home screen, with no accidental zooming.
Requires
- Shira Universe 8.2 is a plugin and runs inside Shira Presenter 2.6 or later. The host application's system requirements apply.
