EG Planetarium owner Gianluca Di Luccio provides mobile planetarium services and organizes observation activities with trekking star parties in the nature. We're sure he does these things very fondly.
With the beginning of the New Year he started to use Shira Player on his mobile dome for astronomy educations.
He also became Shira products distributor in Italy.

Shira Player version 3.0
- Details
In this version multi-projector plugin merged with main installer.
The plugin no longer requires a license. Shira Player license holders will be able to use this multi-projector plugin.
Other developments,
- Add "sidereal day" option to the "Flow rate" on Date-Time form.
- Added "Show Only Sun" option that hide planets except Sun.
- Added checkbox (Subortinates) for subordinate compass direction indicators.
- Added "Show Asterisms" checkbox below "Contellation Lines" button show/hide extra asterisms lines.
- Bug fixed about showing Star labels
- Bug fixed "Show Only Sun" feature occurs problem while FlyBy mode.
- Bug fixed some crash issues on fulldome player.
- Also changed compiler from Mingw to Visual Studio. Thus, handled exceptions, easily.
Warning : Please uninstall old version before install 3.0.
Old Shira Player settings will be preserved. So you can uninstall older versions without worry.
Shira Universe 3.6 version
- Details
Now "Shira Universe" 3.6 version can play VR equirectangular videos on the dome. In order for Shira Universe or Shira Player to identify these videos, the aspect ratio must be 2:1 .
There are many high resolution VR videos on the Youtube channels. We have downloaded and prepared a sample VR video for playing in Shira Universe or Shira Player on the dome.
Sample converted VR to equirectangular video for SU or SP can download from web page download side "Others" section and test.
Shira Player version 2.8

Now, Shira Player has Subtitle feature.
Users can create a subtitle file in SubRip Text (*.srt) format for fulldome show in some language. The Subtitle feature supports Japanse, Chinese, Russian and other european language fonts present.
You can change font size, color, word count for each line and can save them.
